Live TV Lagging / Buffering?

  • Refresh your channels / tv guide from your Trident TV App homepage. This will help keep everything up to date.
  • Double check you have an appropriate internet speed in the Trident TV App settings. We strongly recommend a download speed of 50mbps.
  • Force close app / clear cache if using a firestick. This can help with a slow device, which may cause connection issues.
  • Unplug internet router / modem for a few minutes. This should be done at least monthly to keep everything in your home running smooth.
  • You may need a VPN due to the high bandwidth usage our app uses. If you think this may be the case, message us on telegram and we will get you set up.

Playback Error / No channels playing?

  • Check your internet connection and ensure everything is running properly. 
  • Refresh channels / tv guide to ensure the channel you are clicking into is up to date. 
  • Force close Trident App and Clear Cache. This can help with a slow device, which may cause connection issues. 
  • Double check your account is not expired or that it was extended properly.
